The forum‘s rules and regulations are as follows:
By using this web site, forum, fotoblog and communication system you agree to be contacted by the administrators when it becomes a necessity to do so regarding your account status or forum activities.
The basic rules for discussions on this Night Vision Forum are simple and quite easy to follow: Always be polite, use common sense, don't break the laws governing copyrights or Internet communications and most of all keep your communications and activities within the standards set forth by the US Governement regarding the sharing of technical information related to the use, manufacturing, technology and distribution of night vision, thermal, infrared and other optics technologies and systems. For more information on this subject matter please point your Internet browser to The International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
As a registered forum user you are permitted a maximum of 1 (one) account, active or inactive, regardless of how many companies you represent. If you ignore the importance of this restriction, all your accounts can and will be disabled by the forum administrators. We do not offer temporary accounts for any reason, purpose, entity or business unless you are part of the US Governement. If you require a user name change, please use the features within the profile management system to set a new username for your account. If you have forgotten your log in details and are unable to retrieve them via the system, do not create a new account, please contact the administrator.
We don't censor messages based on the opinions expressed within posts, but we will enforce the policies outlined both here to the fullest. We reserve the right to remove, modify or move posts at our discretion and without explanation. Please contact the administrator if you do not understand any of the rules or regulations outlined below.
- Being polite is not only a request, its one of our golden rules and we take rude comments and behavior very seriously. We will not tolerate rouge users under any circumstance. Any member who is intentionally unpleasant or disruptive may be banned without warning or notice.
- SPAM directed toward the forum, its members or any of our communication systems in any manner will result in getting yourself banned indefinately.
- Do not contact anyone to suggest your product or service who is not explicitly expecting you to contact them. Any type of unwarranted communication determined to be SPAM will be taken seriously and is just cause for your account to be banned indefinately.
- Your forum user account is for your explicit use only. The responsibility for all activity on your account is completely yours and yours alone. You may not share your account login information with anyone. If you ignore this important regulation your account can be de-activated without notice.
- English language is the only way to post on this forum. Posts, communications, photos or profile information not adhering to this rule can be deleted or changed without further notice or warning.
- You may not post commission, referral or affiliate links anywhere on the forum. Doing so can get you banned from this forum indefinately.
- Cross-Posting is against our regulations. Cross-posting refers to posting new duplicate threads or posts, or the linking to threads or posts already started by the member with the intention of gaining exposure.
- You may not compensate other forum users for reviews, recommendations or good publicity.
- You may not post on behalf of any banned member or in-active accountholder in any manner.
- Words or URLs that are censored by our system cannot be posted or reconstructed by adding spaces, dots, or substituting characters; or by any other means in an attempt to defeat any censors put in place by the Night Vision Forum system.
- URLs to sites or images containing pornography, sexually explicit, gross violence, or are determined by moderators to be detrimental to the community will be deleted immediately upon discovery of such. Needless to say, you will get yourself banned if you do indeed post these types of materials or links to such.
- You must make fifteen (15) posts before utilizing the PM (private messenger) and e-mail system features. If you choose to make meaningless posts to try and circumvent this restriction, your account will be disabled.
- Discussions to recommend, praise, or belittle other products or services, or any company; without first hand experience of those products or services is strictly prohibited on this forum.
- Any posts that encourage illegal activities or have malicious intent will be removed and the account de-activated immediately.
- Public posts debating these rules and regulations or the moderators' and administrators' enforcement of such, will be removed without comment.
Simply follow these rules and you will enjoy this forum as much as we enjoy keeping it up to date for your personal use. As always, have fun, be respectful of others ideas and feelings. Doing so will make your time here on the forum a pleasant and informative one, to say the least.
