What weapon sights use MX10130D (F9810)
Hi experts,
I have a brand new MX10310D but no PVS7. What weapon sight can be upgraded with this non-inverting tube?
If it requires some tinkering, that‘s ok. I have mill, lathe, and electronics lab.
Thanks,

Litton Ranger and Hebridean
This is a very rare tube for use in weapon sights, the only types that come into my mind are American Litton M992/M993/M994/M995 Ranger or Belrussian Electrooptic SM-3S2, also known as Hebridean HTH-731

Trident/PS-22
Not in the Trident - this uses a non-inverting tube that is not as deep as the PVS-7 type, so they are not interchangable.
The PS-22 comes in two different versions, one will take the same tube as the Trident, the other will take the PVS-7 type MX-10130D. You should stipulate to the seller that it is the PVS-7 type you need.

Cheers,

Carl.

PS-22 design
Carl, you don‘t need to as the housings differ at first glance. The housing that uses the 22mm short tube has a different design of the focusing ring - with fine grooves, unlike the version for MX-10130-type tubes.

PS-22
Flex, this is not correct. The focus ring can vary from batch to batch and does not indicate whether the body is PS-22 (PVS-7 type) or PS-22A (glass/glass type). ALL new PS-22s now have a new type focus ring which has a shorter travel and a stub on the ring for easier grip while focussing. Again, this type of ring is now on both models.

Thanks
Carl, thanks for the correction. I have so far only seen three PS-22s which seemed to support this assumption, looks like the sample size was way too small to make out an accurate conclusion.
